“Assisi Performing Arts” – Gala Concert
Assisi Performing Arts is presenting a gala concert featuring singers and instrumentalists from one of Italy’s major summer music festivals. This first-ever local concert brings several of America’s international artists to Trenton, New Jersey for a concert on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 3:00pm. The performance will be St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, which is located at 140 North Warren Street (Corner of Perry Street) in Trenton (only 4 blocks off of US 1). Performers from across the country will present selections from the nearly 25 concerts scheduled in Assisi between July 1 and July 16, 2008.
The musical selections for this concert, as for the Assisi Performing Arts’ annual “Assisi Music Festival” will include chamber music, original compositions, art songs, music from the operatic and Broadway stage, and sacred music (a major focus of the festival).
Tickets are $20.00 and can be reserved in advance and will also be available at the door on the day of the performance. A reception with the artists follows the concert in the church hall.
Reservations may be made:
By email Robert@robertviolette.com
By telephone (609) 638-6080
All proceeds go to support the educational initiatives of Assisi Performing Arts and are tax deductible as permitted by law. Fully tax-deductible contributions above and beyond the ticket price will help provide scholarships for the young artist participants.
