Promotion of the Italian Language Committee

Rationale
The Promotion of the Italian Language Committee (PIL) was created and approved by the Commission on August 18, 2004 through Resolution R8004-2. The Committee was established in response to the Italian American community’s concern regarding the inadequacy of the number of Italian language programs for students in the State of New Jersey. The Commission unanimously supported and passed this resolution.

Description
The Promotion of the Italian Language Committee will be comprised of up to 20 members from the educational community and the general public in the State of New Jersey.
