International Relations Committee
Rationale – The International Relations Committee (IRC) was reorganized from the original International Relations and Public Program Recognition Committee. In 2004, the Achievements Recognition Committee was organized to fulfill the public awards recognition portion. The IRC has taken a new role in spearheading relationships with the Italian government.
Description
The International Relations Committee is comprised of Commissioners and outside members who strive to build relationships with representatives of the Italian Government. These efforts include the development of relationships and program ideas with the various regional and municipal Italian governments.
Mission
“The International Relations Committee strives to promote the Italian Heritage by strengthening relationships between the State of New Jersey and the Republic of Italy.”
