Budget Committee

Rationale
The Budget Committee (BUD) was created to assist the Treasurer in developing the annual budgetary outlays of the Commission and to liaise with the Funding and Development Committee (FAD) for private sector source funding.

Description
This Committee is led by the Treasurer and is comprised of Commission officers and additional Commissioners. The BUD reviews the annual budget proposal from the Treasurer and makes recommendations.

Mission
“The Budget Committee seeks to advise the Commission on the annual expenditures for operations, ensuring that expenditures are in line with the Commission’s overall mission, objectives and strategies.”
